When you walk through roses
Do you feel the thorns
Or do you see the blossoms
In spite of what you’ve torn?
Can you catch a glimpse of
heaven
In a drop of dew?
Or your reflection
In the people around you?

If you cried a river
Would it feel much better
Than if you laughed the ocean
And then chose to
dive right in?

Do you hear the bass or the
horns?
