Commentary:
 I wrote this song for so many of my clients and friends who have had to deal with some serious stuff from their childhood. It originally was inspired by a number of clients I was working with to help let go of some extra pounds. A lot of times weight loss is about letting go of more than some excess stored energy or "fat." It's about letting go of old patterns of thought and behavior.

At some point we have to let it go. Even in situations of abuse, eventually it's the person who has internalized the critical, abusive voice of parent or whomever wo has to let go. Ultimately we each have to let go of that negative force. We have to stop doing to ourselves what someone else did to us. That's what this song is about. - Mark
